The child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a doctor, and Thelma Burnell Henson Michele Carey whose birth name is Michele Lee Henson was born on February 26, 1942 in Annapolis, Maryland in the United States of America. In her teens she became an expert in piano playing and was the winner of a national competition at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only thirteen years old. Then, in Fort Collins, Colorado she settled with her family. She finished the high school in Fort Collins High School and was graduated in 1960. In the pursuit of her career goals she made the decision to move into Los Angeles for better opportunities. Her career began in modeling when she was signed by the Powers Agency, which is an elite modeling agency. It was her love of acting and she had attracted Hollywood producers when she was modeling. Her first appearance was on The Man of U.N.C.L.E., a television series. Michele who happened to be one of the famous American entertainers began her modeling career and was employed by the Powers agency before eventually venturing into acting in 1964 on the series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. The appearance she made in the film El Dorado, as a prominent character-related who was a troublemaker, Josephine Joey MacDonald, exposed her to more attention. The most well-known of her roles is her 1960s-70s acting roles.
